ICARE operates by a series of projects all aimed at raising funds to achieve our mission of improving the health status of Iraqi children. In the panel above and also listed below, you will find links to our past, present and future projects. Click on the name of the project to read more.

 

The betterment of Iraqi children's health is an ambitious goal and one that can not be achieved overnight. It requires perseverance, committment, passion and patience to see each project through. ICARE's projects are thus all ongoing. We hope that with time our contribution can make a real change to the lives of needing Iraqi children. The change that we want to see in Iraq.

ICARE is 100% non discriminative and non profit. There are no administration costs and the money fundraised or donated, in its entirety, will go directly to providing dental and medical services for Iraqi children. 

 

 

 I CARE Volunteer

        project aim: 
         - Enable New Zealand based Health professionals to travel to
           Iraq to volunteer their skills and provide needed medical aid
           to Iraqi children. Read More.

 Recipes for Prevention

        project aim:
       - Focus on preventive dentistry & medicine.
       - Provision of health education.
       - Delivery of health products (eg: tooth brushes).
       - Enable Iraqi children & women to gain control over their health.

      Sponsor a Smile

       project aim: 
       - Focus on curative dentistry & medicine.
       - Identify & profile children requiring sponsorship. 
       - Provision of treatment and surgeries.
       - Finance post operative care and follow up.
       - View children profiles.             

             

 ICARE Gift of Giving    

         project aim:
        - Range of ICARE products available for purchase.
        - Items will be sold online on Trademe, through facebook, this
          site and at ICARE charity events. 
        - Proceeds raised will go towards ICARE's projects.

      Art for Iraqi Aid 

        project aim:
         - Collect works of art donated by local artists. 
         - Auction artwork in online galleries, trademe and during art
          displays at ICARE events.  
        - All funds raised will go towards children registered for ICARE's
          sponsor a smile project.

I CARE International Appeal   

         project aim: 
        - To work for the betterment of healthcare for children in other
          middle Eastern and African countries by collaborating with 
          other charities.

Climb for Charity   

         project aim: 
        - Bringing members of the community together to participate in events
          with the goal of raising awareness and funds for ICARE's sponsor a
